On October 10th, a Special Education Parent Advisory Committee (SEPAC) meeting was held with over 30 attendees.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide families with an overview of SEPAC’s role as a forum for parents to collaborate with the District on special education matters and the work of the Child Study Team (CST).
The environment was positive and informative, with parents expressing their appreciation for the expertise of our staff.
Why It Matters: SEPAC is a key platform for ensuring families have a voice in special education services.
It helps build stronger partnerships between families and schools to support student success. This event aligns with our District’s strategic plan to foster greater community engagement and build a culture of inclusion and belonging.
