The award is presented to one individual from each member school who demonstrates a selfless commitment to his community, his school, his teammates and peers.
Each candidate from across the SFC will be honored at a New York Jets game, will have the opportunity to be selected as the 2024 Steve DiGregorio Man of the Year for the entire conference, and they will all be recognized at the Steve DiGregorio Young Man of the Year Press Conference at MetLife Stadium. Congratulations Andrew! 🎉
⚽ LEAGUE-CHAMP GIRLS SOCCER HEADED TO COUNTY FINALS
In a thrilling double-overtime victory, the Rams defeated Ridgewood 3-2, punching their ticket to the Bergen County championship game for the first time since 2018. The game-winning moment came with just 4:03 left on the clock, as Emma Cengarle stepped up under pressure to bury the decisive penalty kick.
This victory puts the Rams in position to make history – their last county tournament win came in 1991. The team will face Ramapo High School this Saturday at 2pm at River Dell High School, with a chance to bring home the championship trophy after a 32-year wait.
The bottom line: Come support your Rams as they look to cap off their remarkable tournament run with a historic victory!
