What's happening: Smith Middle School once again participated in the impactful Lions Club poster project, embodying “Peace Without Limits.” Smith Students - Ava Klotz, Eric Ing, Erin Lee and Olivia Yun- all voluntarily created designs that represents what the prompt means to them in either a realistic or abstract manner.
Why it matters: For over 30 years, the Lions Club International Peace Poster Contest has provided young people around the world with the opportunity to creatively express their visions of peace.
The Lions Club Peace Poster Contest encourages students ages 11-13 to reflect on the meaning of peace and translate their ideas into striking visual representations. Ava Klotz, Eric Ing, Erin Lee, and Olivia Yun, all students at Smith High, voluntarily took on this creative challenge, independently developing unique concepts and executing their poster designs.
🎉 Smith School’s winner this year is Olivia Yun! We are so excited to see Olivia's design move on to the next step of the competition and wish her lots of luck!
