What's happening: This past weekend, Ramsey High School students achieved outstanding results in the Robotics competition at Don Bosco on Saturday, November 9th.
🥇The robotics teams performed extremely well, including a first-place finish by the Dusters, demonstrating exceptional engineering skills and strategic problem-solving.
The Ramblers followed closely behind with a 4th place finish, and the Gearheads secured a spot in the top ten, coming in at 10th place.
A standout moment of the competition was the performance of our high school teams’ robots, which were among the few able to complete the challenging task of hanging on the apparatus. This advanced capability earned the Dusters the award for "Scoring the Meet's Highest Match Score."
Why it matters: These achievements are a testament not only to the hard work of our students but also to the growing importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education in our District.
Robotics programs empower our students with hands-on experience in designing, programming, and problem-solving — critical skills in today’s technology-driven world.
Engaging in these activities teaches critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity, which are all competencies in our Profile of a Ramsey Graduate that will serve our students well both in school and in their future careers.
The bottom line: This competition was one of our most successful to date, underscoring the dedication of our students, coaches, and mentors. We are proud of our teams for their achievements and for their hard work!
🤖 Congratulations to the Dusters, Ramblers, and Gearheads!
